I’m a person who often experiences depressive or at least semi-depressive episodes,
Melancholy maybe? Anyway, I often feel down. This is one of the down sides to spending
a lot of time in my head, at least in my experience.

Experiencing these are generally not fun, so after a while I started looking for ways to improve this.

The answer, at least a lot of the time, is music!

I tend to listen to music most of the time. But when I’m feeling down, listening, as in, really listening to music
can snap me out of it pretty fast. As long as I choose the right genre.

I feel empty now.

A week with her changed everything.

Just a small glimpse into her life completely changed mine.

The energy, the feeling of being near people again.

Alive again for the first time in a long time.

And I’m back home now.

Restless while not being there.

Everyone else living in slow motion and I used to as well.

Wanting to go back to her, to the feeling being in her world gave me.
